Guriline LLC d/b/a License Fix School of Construction ("License Fix School of Construction," "we," "us," or "our") operates www.licensefixschool.com, the student portal, and our online and in-person exam-prep programs. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. It is part of our Terms and Conditions.

02Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, and phone number when you fill out a form, reserve a seat, book a call, or check out.
  • Account details: login credentials and profile information for the student portal.
  • Order details: products purchased, coupons used, and the shipping address for books and physical products.
  • Payment details: processed directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details (such as card brand and last four digits), never your full card number.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, phone, text, WhatsApp, or in our community groups.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, and screen size
  • Usage information, such as pages visited, links clicked, time on page, and the site that referred you
  • IP address and approximate location, used for security and analytics
  • Session interaction data (clicks, scrolls, and page movements) collected by Microsoft Clarity to improve the website

Information from others

We may receive information from our payment processor, shipping carriers, and advertising or analytics partners, for example to confirm a payment, a delivery, or which ad brought you to our site.

04Student Portal Data

When you use the student portal, we also collect information about your learning activity, including lessons watched, progress, practice exam answers and scores, flashcard activity, certificates earned, login times, and the devices used to sign in.

We use this information to show your progress, support you, improve our materials, and protect our content. Protected materials display a watermark with your account details, and activity may be reviewed to detect account sharing or unauthorized copying, as described in our Terms.

05Emails, Calls, and Text Messages

If you share your email or phone number, we may contact you by email, phone call, text message, or WhatsApp about your inquiry, enrollment, order, or classes.

  • Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, which is never required to buy.
  • You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in the message, reply STOP to any text message, or write to [email protected].
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
  • We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

06How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), website hosting, our customer database and email tools, analytics (Google and Microsoft), and shipping carriers.
  • Advertising partners to measure ad performance, only when you accept analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or needed to protect our rights, property, students, or the public, including in legal proceedings.
  • Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

Messages you post in community groups are visible to other members. Please don't share sensitive information there.

07Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

We use cookies and similar technologies. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies.

08Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain your student records and certificates, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations or resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

09Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password private and tell us right away about any unauthorized use of your account.

10Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, and subject to applicable law (including the Florida Digital Bill of Rights where it applies), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing messages and targeted advertising

To make a request, email [email protected] or call +1 888 538 1225. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. Deleting your information may end your access to the student portal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Users Outside the United States

We are based in Florida, and our services are intended for users in the United States. If you access them from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

14Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will let you know through the website or by email.
