01Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Guriline LLC d/b/a License Fix School of Construction ("License Fix School of Construction," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of www.licensefixschool.com and every course, class, book, practice exam, community, and related service we offer (together, the "Services").
By visiting the website, creating an account, signing in to the student portal, submitting a form, or making a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Clicking a button to submit a form or complete checkout is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten one. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
02Our Services
License Fix School of Construction helps candidates prepare for Florida contractor licensing exams. Depending on what you purchase, the Services may include:
- Online video courses, study guides, and digital materials
- Virtual and in-person classes
- Practice exams, quizzes, and flashcards
- Printed reference books and book tabs
- Access to our student portal and community groups (such as WhatsApp)
License Fix School of Construction is an independent exam-preparation school. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the Construction Industry Licensing Board, or any testing vendor. Meeting licensing requirements, registering for exams, and following state and local rules remain your responsibility.
03Eligibility and Accounts
The Services are intended for adults. By using them, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
You also agree that:
- The information you give us (name, email, phone, shipping address) is accurate and kept up to date.
- You will keep your login credentials confidential and are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Your account is for you alone. Sharing logins or course access with anyone else is not allowed.
- You will not impersonate another person or use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
Tell us right away at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without permission.
04Purchases, Pricing, and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you complete checkout. Applicable sales tax and shipping fees are shown before you pay.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. By submitting a payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use that payment method.
- Full payment is required before access is granted, unless we offer you a payment plan in writing. Missed plan payments may pause your access until the balance is paid.
- Coupons and promotions are subject to their stated terms, have no cash value, and cannot be combined unless we say so.
- We may refuse or cancel an order in case of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailable product. If we cancel, we refund any amount charged for that order.
Disputing a valid charge with your bank (a chargeback) instead of contacting us first violates these Terms and may result in permanently revoked access, plus any collection costs allowed by law.
05Course Access and In-Person Classes
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the course for the access period described at the time of purchase. Access begins once payment is confirmed.
For in-person classes, we will contact you after purchase to confirm your schedule and location. Seats are limited, and rescheduling depends on availability. Please arrive on time and follow the rules of the training center.
You attend in-person classes voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for your own conduct, belongings, and travel. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage that occurs at a class location unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Classes (virtual and in-person) may be photographed or recorded for instruction and quality purposes. By attending, you consent to this. We will ask for your separate permission before using your image or testimonial in advertising.
We continuously improve our materials, so lessons, schedules, instructors, and platform features may change. We will not materially reduce the core content of a course you have already paid for during your access period.
06Student Portal
The student portal is where you access courses, bundles, the digital library, practice exams, flashcards, and certificates. By using it, you agree that:
- Access is personal. Each account is for one student, and logins may not be shared, sold, or used by more than one person.
- Protected materials display a watermark with your account details. Removing, hiding, or bypassing watermarks or other protections is prohibited.
- We may monitor portal activity (such as logins, devices, and viewing patterns) to detect account sharing, copying, or misuse, and may suspend access without notice when we detect it.
- Downloading, recording, printing, or exporting materials is not allowed except where the portal expressly offers it.
- The portal may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. You need a compatible device, browser, and internet connection, which are your responsibility.
- Progress, scores, and other records are provided for your convenience. We are not liable for lost or inaccurate records; keep your own notes if they matter to you.
- Access ends when your access period expires, when you request account deletion, or when access is terminated under these Terms.
Practice exams and certificates
Practice exams are study tools created by License Fix School of Construction. They are not official exams, and your scores do not predict or guarantee your result on any licensing exam.
Certificates issued in the portal only confirm that you completed a License Fix School of Construction program. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are not a license, a state approval, continuing-education credit, or proof of competency, and they may not be presented as such.
07Educational Content Only
All content in the Services is for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. It is not legal, accounting, engineering, safety, or other professional advice, and it does not replace the official reference books, building codes, or guidance from licensing authorities.
Codes, laws, exam outlines, and reference editions change. While we work to keep materials current, we do not guarantee that they reflect the latest version at all times. You are responsible for verifying requirements with official sources and for any decisions you make in your professional work.
08Books and Physical Products
Books and book tabs are shipped to the address you provide at checkout. Please double-check it: we are not responsible for deliveries delayed or lost because of an incorrect address.
- Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
- If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us promptly after delivery with your order details and photos, and we will make it right.
- Other returns of physical products are accepted only when approved by us in writing. Shipping fees are not refundable.
09Refund Policy
Unless we state otherwise in writing, all sales are final.
We review refund requests case by case. To be considered, a request must:
- Be sent in writing within 14 days of purchase
- Include proof of course activity (watch time, modules completed)
- Explain why the course did not provide value
- Confirm that bonus materials were not accessed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. When a refund is granted, all course and community access is permanently revoked. Filing a chargeback without following this process violates these Terms.

13Communications
When you give us your email or phone number, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone call, text message, or WhatsApp about your inquiry, purchase, account, and classes. You also agree to receive notices from us electronically.
Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and consent is never a condition of purchase. You can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in an email, replying STOP to a text message, or contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.
14Results and Testimonials
We work hard to prepare you, but passing depends on your own study, effort, and exam-day performance. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam or obtain a license.
Testimonials, pass rates, and success stories on our website reflect the experiences of individual students. They are not a promise of the results you will achieve.
15Third-Party Services
The Services rely on and link to third-party services such as Stripe (payments), WhatsApp (community), YouTube (videos), and shipping carriers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
16Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exam content will match any specific version of a licensing exam.
17Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guriline LLC d/b/a License Fix School of Construction and its owners, members, managers, instructors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost income or business opportunities, failed or delayed exams, delays in licensing, lost data, or failures of third-party services, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims related to the Services, combined, will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose.
If you are dissatisfied with the Services, your sole remedy is to stop using them and, where eligible, request a refund under Section 9. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
18Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Guriline LLC d/b/a License Fix School of Construction and its owners, members, managers, instructors, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your conduct in classes or community spaces, your sharing of account access or materials, your professional work, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
19Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or end your access at any time for:
- Violating these Terms or the community guidelines
- Misconduct or harassment
- Sharing or distributing our materials
- Non-payment or chargebacks
No refund is provided when access ends because of misconduct or a violation of these Terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) remain in effect.
20Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute related to them or to the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for every dispute, whether in arbitration or in court, is Orange County, Florida.
Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration held in Orange County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
- The arbitrator decides all questions about the scope, validity, and enforceability of this arbitration agreement.
- Claims may be brought only on an individual basis. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in any class, collective, or representative action.
- Either party may bring an individual claim in the small claims court of Orange County, Florida, if it qualifies.
- We may seek injunctive relief in the courts of Orange County, Florida, to protect our intellectual property, content, or confidential information.
- If arbitration does not apply for any reason, disputes must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Orange County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue there.
Any claim related to these Terms or the Services must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.
21Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, power or internet outages, platform failures, or government actions. In-person classes affected by such events will be rescheduled or moved online when possible.
22Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and it is part of these Terms.
23Changes to the Services and Terms
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes take effect when posted and do not apply retroactively to purchases already completed. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
24General Terms
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and us.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example in a merger or sale of the business.
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
