Question 1

Which exams do I need to pass for my Florida Mechanical license?

Accepted Answer

You'll need two exams through Pearson VUE: Business and Finance, which every Florida contractor license requires, and the Mechanical trade exam. This course prepares you for both.

Question 2

The Mechanical exam is open-book. Why do people still fail it?

Accepted Answer

Because the clock beats most candidates, not the content. The exam is timed, and the answers are buried in thick reference books. This course shows you which books to bring, how to tab and highlight them, and how to find each answer fast, then lets you practice on full-length timed simulators until it's second nature.

Question 3

What's included in the Mechanical course?

Accepted Answer

Step-by-step video lessons on every exam topic, the complete list of required DBPR-approved books, pre-highlighted and tabbed book guides, practice quizzes and full-length timed simulators, the math and financial calculations explained simply, and a study plan with clear priorities. Prefer to skip hunting for books? The Complete Course + Books + Tabs plan ships the reference books and tabs to your door with the course.

Question 4

Is the course worth the price?

Accepted Answer

Compare it with failing: a re-registration fee, weeks of lost study and a later license date. Our students pass at a 91% first-time rate, and if you already paid for another prep course, send us proof of purchase and we'll give you a discount to switch.

Question 5

How long will it take me to be ready?

Accepted Answer

Most students finish in 4 to 8 weeks. The online course is self-paced, with no live sessions or fixed schedule, so you set the pace around your job, from any device, in English or Spanish.

Question 6

What if I don't pass?

Accepted Answer

Your Mechanical license requires the Business and Finance exam, and that's the exam we guarantee: complete the entire Business and Finance course, dedicate 100% to studying, and if you don't pass your Business and Finance exam within 12 months of enrollment, you get 100% of your money back.
